Mother Nature hasn’t been kind to me this semester.  Today was supposed to be my trip to the Hershey Gardens.  I’ve been looking forward to this trip for over a month, but the snow had other plans for me.  So instead, I’m blogging from my cozy apartment.

Next week I’m going to Lititz, PA to visit Wilbur Chocolate Factory.  Wilbur Chocolate Factory is indoors, and there are tons of shops surrounding the factory.  If the weather is nice I’ll also be exploring a nearby park and the surrounding shops.  

One of my favorite places to go for food in Lititz is the Family Cupboard.  It’s a restaurant about 10 minutes outside the main part of town that’s worth the short drive.  If you like buffets and home-style cooking the Family Cupboard is the perfect place for you.  It’s especially nice around the holidays, and has fast, friendly service.

About a month ago I took my boyfriend to the Family Cupboard as a special treat, and he’s still bragging about how good the food is to this day.

Today, I’m also starting research on attractions in Adams County.  Gettysburg, PA is a big travel destination in Adams County that will be the focus of my research.

I worked in Gettysburg for two years, so the tourist location is near and dear to my heart.  I’m excited to start writing.
